Good show. Bad sitelines

The show was very good. All three bands were well rehearsed and excellent. Set changes were crisp. Switchfoot had by far the strongest set and best engagement with the crowd, so Need To Breathe had a tough act to follow. It was a full on party. They played well, but several times they introed into songs with somewhat odd video clips. I guess they just needed a breather between songs, but the clips didn’t seem to carry the show forward. The biggest disappointment, however, were the seats. We were in the front row of section 201, which is the lowest part of the balcony. I expected a good view but the speaker placement blocked a quarter of the stage. Everything stage left was obstructed view, even those video clips. So the music was great. The site lines were not.
